Our Classroom

First grade is an exciting year because students work towards building fluency in both reading and math. In our classroom, we strive to read texts accurately, quickly, and with expression. In math, we build our number sense and practice skills consistently to gain fact fluency without a focus on rote memorization. We truly are becoming Fluent in First!
